A business does not exist for long without the support of many people.

This site — and the ideas behind it — represents the culmination of nearly two decades of seeking out people, education and inspiration that have shaped the way I think, work and live.

Dedication

For the children who have been with me from the beginning.

This site — and the business behind it — is dedicated to my three children, with my whole heart.

When I first dreamed of becoming a photographer at 21 years old, my future family was already part of the dream. I saw entrepreneurship as a way to build meaningful work within the boundaries of a meaningful life: to contribute, create and support a family while still being present for it.

Twenty years later, this site represents the fruit of stewarding that dream.

Today, my children watch me manage a business and help support our family. They see me walk out the door for a photo shoot and come home bone-tired. They hear phone calls from the school pick-up line and Zoom chats through the office door. They see the sacrifices and the showing up; the seasons of doubt and the moments of celebration.

May they each grow up knowing that work is a privilege and a gift. That it can be deeply meaningful without becoming the measure of a life. That there is room for ambition and presence, responsibility and joy.

And, most of all, that worthwhile things are often built slowly, through years of giving notice and making small deposits.

Benediction

May we work and live as witnesses to God’s faithful provision and His enduring goodness.

Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
— Psalm 37
