Breakthrough T1D Cincinnatians of the Year Gala 2026

The 2026 Breakthrough T1D Cincinnatian of the Year Gala brought together Cincinnati, Ohio business leaders, families, and advocates for an evening supporting type 1 diabetes research and community impact.
Hosted at the newly renovated First Financial Center in downtown Cincinnati, the “Wild for a Cure” themed gala featured live entertainment, appearances by the Ben-Gals Cheerleaders, and a performance by the Norwood Marching Indians.
Special guest and honoree Orlando Brown Jr. of the Cincinnati Bengals was recognized for his ongoing philanthropic leadership and advocacy surrounding type 1 diabetes awareness. The annual Cincinnati fundraiser raised more than $1 million to support Breakthrough T1D’s mission to fund research and move closer toward a cure for type 1 diabetes.
